Blackout was a hilarious slap in the face.  Totally confronting, very funny and thought provoking in its account of a young woman’s lifetime obsession with the ‘otherness’ offered by alcohol.   You laugh out loud,  shed a tear and marvel at how truly scary it is to lose chunks of your life through alcohol-induced blackouts.
