Finding Hannah by Fiona McCallum told the story of a women devastated by a car accident killing her husband and both of her parents. Young, not long married and still madly in love with Tristan, and close to her mum and dad, the year following their deaths was overwhelming and incomprehensive for Hannah.
Making Peace is the follow on. I did read the first, but it is not necessary to do so to get an understanding of the second. Hannah is coming out of the cloud of grief with the help of her close friends.
McCallum deals with the process of grief, showing Hannah finding a new normal, wanting different things in her personal and professional lives.
This is another gentle read that addresses tragedy and the ripple effect it has on those affected.
