My Family and Other Animus reviewed by Kate

My Family and other Animus, written by James Jeffrey, is a set of short, personal stories about his life growing up as an Australian being raised by migrants. James’ parents separate in a startling argument, which changes his life forever.

Through this set of stories he seems to be gathering all the bits he recalls to remember the whole narrative, and he is kindly letting us be part of the funny, sad and personal story.
