The Other Side of the World by Stephanie Bishop

The Other Side of the World

Charlotte and Henry move from their home in England to Australia with their young girls. This is something Henry wants – a new job and getting away from the cold. For Charlotte it is leaving all she loves behind, to come to a place where she knows no-one and finds it difficult adapting to the climate, culture and landscape.

She no longer paints as she used to. Her time is taken up with the children and Henry is away at work all day. In her loneliness she finds a friend and their relationship has ramifications for all of the family.
