Try Hard

I am a fan of Em Rusciano’s candid and honest life commentary and follow her hilarious escapades on social media. So I was really looking forward to reading her first book. Thankfully, it didn’t disappoint.

There were things she wrote about that I had already heard her talk about in podcasts or on radio, but it didn’t matter, it was a highly entertaining read and a real insight into life good, bad and just plain ugly. Rusciano shares her hopes, fears and aspirations in this book and you just know that at the end of the day, she will always find the strength to fight the good fight, especially when it comes to protecting and nurturing her family.

I read this book almost in one sitting. Her honesty made me smile and cry at the same time, but ultimately, her story is one about being brave enough to follow your dreams and striving for success. Em Rusicano is the  epitome of the little Aussie battler, with a whole lot of glitter and sass thrown in for good measure.
