Daughter of Mine reviewed by Marie

A family saga, based in the Western districts of Victoria, written by Fiona Lowe. There is a mother with a past and three daughters. The eldest sister, a surgeon, has had her reputation ruined by the crooked activities of her husband as well as a daughter who has an illegitimate child.

Sisters two and three were equally unfortunate. The first, a lawyer, has a severely handicapped child, and the youngest, a teacher, had a baby who died. A somewhat turgid drama but nevertheless the story is readable.
