Let Me Lie reviewed by Wendy

The cover of this novel reads ‘The police say it was suicide. Anna says it was murder. They are both wrong.’ This had me intrigued before I opened the first page.

Anna is convinced her parents have been murdered – she knows they would not have taken their own lives. The police have investigated and all the evidence points to suicide. Anna goes to report her concerns to the police and is seen by Murray- a retired detective with his own problems who volunteers at the desk. He takes her concerns seriously and begins his own investigations

There are many twists and turns – and red herrings – that make this thriller a very satisfying read.
