Southern Ruby reviewed by Marie

This novel is about New Orleans, told by two story tellers two generations apart. The architecture, the geography, the socio-economic structure, the history, the jazz, the burlesque, and race relations are all included, as is Hurricane Katrina.

Although long, and the central characters are too perfect, the reader is captivated by the tale.
