The Botanist’s Daughter reviewed by Marie

This is a story which deals with two time frames, Victorian England and present day Australia. Cornwall, and Trebithick Hall, now a National Trust property, become the focus for the Australian gardener, Anna, who is fascinated by the amazing water colours she finds in a metal box.

The adventures of Elizabeth, a plant painter, the love between her and her husband, nineteenth century flora of Chile and Cornwall, the escape of the maid, Daisy and the baby, make for an exciting tale by Kayte Nunn.
