The Centre of My Everything reviewed by Vivian

Wow! This book really packs a punch with very real characters and a page turning plot. Parents should be scared as the storylines described in this novel will send shivers down any parent’s spine!

Themes included in the book are violence, racism, rape, alcohol and drugs – nothing new here. However, Webster’s powerful writing technique allows you to understand how the characters think and feel and how underdeveloped teenage minds work to make detrimental decisions.

The story is told from the viewpoint of four very different people, verging on adulthood and carrying their own baggage, whose lives cross in unexpected ways. A brilliantly told and very engaging book.
