The Easy Way Out reviewed by Wendy

the-easy-way-outThis book had me engaged from the very beginning. It is written through the eyes of Evan, a male nurse, who is working as a suicide assistant for the terminally ill, a pilot program bordering precariously on illegal.

As if his occupation were not stressful enough, he also has a feisty mother suffering from Parkinson’s disease quickly becoming more dependent and fighting any offered help.

His love life is complicated and his supervisor suspects he is too involved with his patients to be the objective observer that keeps the project within legal bounds.

A wonderful unpredictable novel that will get you thinking and wanting your friends to read so that you can discuss the dilemmas it presents
