They Cannot Take the Sky reviewed by Marie

As Geoffrey Robertson says reading this book makes you ashamed to be an Australian. The stories about mandatory detention on Nauru, and Manus or Christmas Island for asylum seekers who are fleeing their countries for life in another land, are both heart breaking and revealing. Collected by an award winning oral history organisation, these accounts are both shocking and, at times, surprising. A testimony for survival.
